She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John W. Parsons, and her son, Frank G. Parsons. Mrs. Parsons was born in Richford, Vt., to the late Sam and Mabel (Handy) Benson, attended local schools and was a graduate of the Richford High School. Primarily a homemaker, she held employment early in her career as a manager with the Richford Country Club. She mostly devoted her time and efforts into volunteer work with local hospitals and nursing homes. Cora held membership and was an active member with the Richford United Methodist Church United Methodist Church, in the United States, religious body formed by the union in 1968 of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Methodist Church (see Methodism). .
