CorVu Launches Enterprise Information Portfolio for the Web.

CorVu Corporation (NASDAQ/OTC BB:CRVU), today brought greater enterprise analysis speed, choice and flexibility to the executive desktop with the launch of CorPortfolio. This new application will collate col·late

CorPortfolio recognizes that most corporations use a mixture of business intelligence, performance management and executive information tools with departments often making autonomous supplier choices. It enables executives to quickly combine information from virtually any data source, business intelligence tool, or office application, including CorVu and additional OLAP/query & reporting tools, using simple drag and drop A graphical user interface (GUI) capability that lets you perform operations by moving the icon of an object with the mouse into another window or onto another icon. For example, files can be copied or moved by dragging them from one folder to another.  techniques, bringing them into an electronic portfolio where explanatory notes can be added.

Pages in the portfolio may be themed to provide rapid, point and click access to company- and department-wide business performance results and analyses.

Using industry standard OLE technology, virtually any software object, including Microsoft Office Microsoft's primary desktop applications for Windows and Mac. Depending on the package, it includes some combination of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook along with various Internet and other utilities. , LotusNotes, CorVu - or other business intelligence applications - may be incorporated into CorPortfolio. These `portfolios' may be printed or viewed online - on either the desktop or the web. CorPortfolio integrates reports, spreadsheets, graphs, commentary and documents for effective communication of performance results. It is designed to enable organizations to maximize the return from investments in business intelligence, document management, collaborative communication and knowledge management technologies.
