This represents a 67 percent increase in electronic course reserve adoption in just the past two years.

"The integration with Copyright Clearance Center will make it much easier for library staff to search and post materials using Innovative's electronic course reserves," said Jennifer Taxman, Head of Access Services at Dartmouth College Dartmouth College, at Hanover, N.H.; coeducational; chartered 1769, opened 1770, the ninth colonial college (see Wheelock, Eleazar). Originally a men's college, Dartmouth began admitting women in 1972. . "Like most college libraries, our e-reserve activity is growing steadily and this streamlined solution will save us time in getting copyright permission when necessary."

Previously, librarians and staff members interested in posting electronic reserves needed to leave their library system and log into Copyright Clearance Center's Web site separately. Now, when a user selects a title in Innovative's electronic course reserves, they simply click the "get permission" link and are taken to the appropriate permission service and search results page on copyright.com. User and bibliographic information is automatically transferred to place a copyright permission order, eliminating the need to log in, re-key information or conduct another title search.

"We are in a unique position to partner with Copyright Clearance Center," said Betsy Graham, vice president of product management at Innovative. "In fact, Millennium is the only ILS ILS
