The photo stunt was organised by construction company Willmott Dixon which is building a new pounds 2.2m cancer treatment unit at the hospital - a centre largely funded by the Macmillan charity. Building work should take around nine months to complete and it is hoped that the unit will open next spring. It will provide chemotherapy treatment and support for patients in Cynon Valley, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhymney Valley, Caerphilly Caerphilly (kīrfĭl`ē, kär–), Welsh Caerffili, town (1981 pop. 42,376) and county borough, 108 sq mi (279 sq km), S Wales. and Powys. The Macmillan World's Largest Coffee Mornings are being staged UK-wide on Friday, September 25 and is the biggest annual fundraising event for the cancer charity.
