CopyKluge IDE to SATA Hard Drive Duplicator Now Available from Data Protection Solutions by Arco.


HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -- Data Protection Solutions by Arco, a long established leader in low-cost disk mirroring and drive to drive backup hardware, today announced the CopyKluge. Designed for use with DPS-Arco's EzCOPY[TM] DD4 SATA (Serial ATA) A serial version of the ATA (IDE) interface, which has been the de facto standard hard disk interface for desktop PCs for more than two decades. The original Parallel ATA (PATA) interface was launched in 1986.  hard drive duplicator, the CopyKluge offers a simple, economical way to seamlessly migrate from an IDE to Serial ATA See SATA.

The EzCOPY[TM] is an affordable stand-alone drive copier aimed at resellers, OEMs, system integrators, IT support specialists and service technicians. Because the EzCOPY[TM] does not connect to a computer, it requires no installation or software, no computer time and virtually no user intervention. All that's required is to insert the source and destination drives into its two removable drive (1) A device that spins, reads and writes an optical disc, hard magnetic disk or floppy (magnetic) disk, which is inserted into the unit by means of a drive tray or cartridge slot. Based on the company's unique DD4 drive duplication technology, the EzCOPY[TM] works by transferring a bit by bit copy of the original onto the target drive, rapidly moving data at less than one minute per gigabyte. It can duplicate drives of up to 144 petabytes. The EzCOPY[TM] is virtually maintenance free and can be used to copy to and from drives of dissimilar sizes as well as between drives from different manufacturers.
