Copy Cop anticipates that the DocuColor iGen3 will help increase overall revenue by at least 15 percent.

"As many businesses face smaller marketing budgets, they are seeking more ways to save money on high-quality, four-color documents," said Paul Waldeck, chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

this growing demand by offering customers what traditional printers cannot -- the advantage of ordering only quantities they need, when they need it -- but with the same level of service and speed they have come to expect from Copy Cop."

The DocuColor iGen3 offers image quality that compares favorably with offset, while enabling economical production of small quantities of documents, a process that is not cost-effective on traditional presses. Equipment that easily produces smaller quantity print jobs enables buyers to order only the amount they need, providing significant savings by reducing customer inventory and eliminating obsolescence ob·so·les·cent

Copy Cop also believes the DocuColor iGen3's personalization Custom tailoring information to the individual. On the Web, personalization means returning a page that has been customized for the user, taking into consideration that person's habits and preferences.  capabilities, which allows content and images to vary from page to page, will help dramatically improve response rates to customers' promotional materials, something that traditional offset presses cannot do.

"With the DocuColor iGen3, we can set ourselves apart in Boston by introducing revolutionary ways for local businesses to get their advertising messages to the market," Waldeck said.

"Copy Cop is a wonderful example of how the DocuColor iGen3 provides printers with new opportunities to develop and grow their business," said Mark Waxenberg, vice president and general manager, Xerox Production Solutions Business Unit.

Copy Cop has been a Xerox customer since its inception in 1967. Over the years, it has been an early adopter of new technologies and has served as a national testing site for such Xerox equipment as the DocuColor 40 and DocuColor 12.

"It's been an excellent partnership and we've helped each other become successful in the Boston marketplace," said Waldeck.
