CopperCom Contributes $100K to Coalition to Keep America Connected; Next-Gen Softswitch Leader Presents Check at OPASTCO Conference; Is First Vendor to Invest $100,000 in Industry Effort to Ensure the Survival of Rural Telcos.

Formed to ensure that rural service providers and their customers have a voice in the debate on telecommunications policies, the Coalition to Keep America Connected (http://www.keepamericaconnected.org) is made up of consumers, businesses, communications and high-tech industry leaders, and other organizations from across the country. Its mission is to provide high-quality services at reasonable cost to everyone in the U.S. on a nondiscriminatory basis. .
