CopperCom, the company that is Liberating the Local Exchange, today announced that its next-generation switching system, the CSX 1100 has completed interoperability testing at Iowa Network Services (INS). This confirms the CSX product family as a solution for the Iowa Independent Operating Carrier (IOC) market.

In 1986, 128 independent telephone companies in Iowa formed Iowa Network Services to provide centralized equal access. Today, INS provides a full spectrum of network services, long distance telephone services, and internet access and hosting services to approximately 330 communities in Iowa.
