Copper producer Anvil Mining climbs 17%


Shares of Anvil anvil

: T.AVM AVM 1 Acute viral meningitis, see there 2 Arteriovenous malformation, see there , Stock Forum) climbed 17.7% to $1.33 as the price of copper moved higher, and the company announced that it has completed a $34 million public offering.

As the price of copper for July delivery climbed 2.5% to $2.16 Monday, the copper producer also announced that it has completed a previously announced offering, issuing more than 30 million common shares at $1.15 per share, for gross proceeds of $34.5 million.

Anvil says it plans to use the net proceeds Net Proceeds
