Copper Valley Wireless selects ZTE for CDMA2000 Digital Wireless Solution.

VALDEZ, Alaska & DALLAS -- Copper Valley Wireless (CVW), a subsidiary of Copper Valley Telephone Cooperative (CVTC), and ZTE USA, Inc. a subsidiary of ZTE Corporation, a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, have jointly announced that Copper Valley Wireless has selected ZTE's All-IP CDMA2000 solution to provide its digital wireless services.

As part of the agreement, ZTE USA will supply its All-IP CDMA2000 1X Voice and EV-DO Rev.A systems, so that Copper Valley Wireless can launch its digital service by the first part of 2007.

This new technology will bring CVW's subscribers digital wireless service with improved voice and call quality, longer battery life for phones and a much larger phone selection with capabilities including camera options, text messaging, downloadable ring tones and games. Subscribers will be able to exchange text messages and send multimedia messages such as pictures, pictures with a voice message or short video clips. High-speed wireless Internet access will be available to handsets, mobile computers and fixed terminals.
