Lightning caused a massive wildfire to start near Milford at 3:45 p.m. (USA). Centurion staff and consultants are evaluating data from 210 exploratory drill holes, more than 500 trench and rock chip samples, 45 underground channel samples, plus magnetic and electrical geophysical surveys. Detailed results and costs have been obtained from previous open-pit mine and processing operations at the OK Mine, which recovered more than 20 million pounds of copper between 1968 and 1974. Fifteen horizontal underground drill holes confirm that the average resource grade is at least .50 percent copper.
