extends the service life of automotive air ducts by 50% to 60%, says DSM 1. DSM - Data Structure Manager.

An object-oriented language by J.E. Rumbaugh and M.E. Loomis of GE, similar to C++. It is used in implementation of CAD/CAE software. DSM is written in DSM and C and produces C as output.
Engineering Plastics, Evansville, Ind. Its Arnitel PB582-H polyether-ester block copolymer copolymer: see polymer.  enables air ducts to be thin-walled by as much as 40% while also reducing engine noise. It also offers long-term resistance to oxidative aging.

Initial use of PB582-H is in Mercedes-Benz C-Class cars. The part's oval cross-section, dictated by tight under-hood spacing, requires strength to resist collapse under negative pressure, despite a 20% weight reduction (which shortens blow molding cycles by a comparable amount).
