Copart to Sponsor KHI's No. 33 in Five NASCAR Truck Series Events.

FAIRFIELD, Calif. -- Copart, Inc. (NASDAQ: CPRT), a leading online vehicle remarketer, is proud to announce that the company is the primary sponsor of Kevin Harvick Inc.'s No. 33 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Ron Hornaday for five of the 25 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events to be held in 2009.

"We believe this new sponsorship with KHI is the perfect opportunity for us to show NASCAR fans and car enthusiasts what professional buyers have known for years - that Copart is the best place to find cars," said Copart President Jay Adair. "Copart and the No. 33 team are a natural fit because just like Copart is a proven front runner in the auto remarketing world, the Kevin Harvick Inc. team and driver Ron Hornaday are proven front runners in the racing world."

The sponsorship comes shortly after Copart enhanced its website to make it easier for new buyers to search for and view vehicles offered at www.copart.com.

"During these difficult economic times we are proud to be able to foster new relationships and expose new businesses to the power of the NASCAR market," said Kevin Harvick, KHI co-owner.

The convenience of Copart's patented VB2 virtual auction technology, which allows buyers from all over the world to bid on vehicles online from the comfort of their computer, has already attracted more than 100,000 professional buyers from more than 100 countries who buy more than 1 million vehicles every year.

"Copart is dedicated to continued buyer awareness so that our sellers can continue to enjoy the most efficient bidding environment possible," said Adair. "We believe our sponsorship of the No. 33 team during these NASCAR events will help us do just that, as NASCAR fans love cars! Our goal is to make Copart a household name among car fanatics everywhere!"

"The No. 33 team is proving to be as strong as ever this season," said three-time Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday. "It is new partners like Copart that make our job at the track that much easier, and we are looking forward to taking them to victory lane."
