The Northwest Region
. Located in Spokane, Washington Spokane (pronounced [spoʊ̯ˈkæn]) is a city located in Eastern Washington. The seat of Spokane County, Spokane is the metropolitan center of the Inland Northwest, the second largest city in Washington state, and , this 33-acre greenfield facility was purchased by Copart. It will add needed capacity in the eastern part of the state, which is currently serviced by yards in Pasco, Washington Pasco (IPA: [ˈpæs ko]) is a city located in Franklin County, in the state of Washington, USA. Pasco is the county seat of Franklin CountyGR6.  and Helena, Montana.

"The Spokane location was opened to accommodate the growth we are experiencing in the eastern Washington and the upper Idaho areas and to better serve our insurance customers by strategically locating facilities to reduce their towing and storage costs," said Willis J. Johnson, Copart's Chief Executive Officer.

Copart, founded in 1982, provides vehicle suppliers, primarily insurance companies, with a full range of services to process and sell salvage vehicles, principally to licensed dismantlers, rebuilders and used vehicle dealers, through Internet sales utilizing its proprietary VB2 technology. Salvage vehicles are either damaged vehicles deemed a total loss for insurance or business purposes or are recovered stolen vehicles for which an insurance settlement with the vehicle owner has already been made. The Company operates 114 facilities in the United States and Canada. It also provides services in other locations through its national network of independent salvage vehicle processors.
