Copa Airlines Takes Delivery of New Boeing 737-700; Aircraft Is # 20 in Airline's Fleet Renovation Plan.

PANAMA CITY, Panama -- Copa Airlines announced today delivery of a new Boeing 737-700 aircraft. The new 737-700 is the final of four aircraft Copa has received this year, bringing its fleet total to 20 Boeing 737-700 and 800 aircraft.

Copa will take delivery of two more Boeing 737s in 2005 -- one in February and another in June -- for a total of 22 Boeing 737 aircraft, making Copa's fleet one of the youngest and most modern in the industry worldwide.

A leader in aviation industry technology, Copa is the first airline in the Americas to utilize Vertical Situation Display An electronically generated display on which information on aircraft attitude and heading, flight director commands, weapon aiming and terrain following can be presented, choice of presentation being under the control of the pilot.  (VSD VSD
