Copa Airlines Joins Northwest Airlines' WorldPerks Network of Partners.

Copa Airlines today announced that it has joined Northwest Airlines(R)' WorldPerks(R) network of airline partners, which includes frequent flyer alliances with Copa Airlines, Continental Airlines and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

The agreement, effective March 15, allows Northwest's WorldPerks members to earn and redeem frequent flyer miles on Copa Airlines flights throughout Latin America. Members of Copa and Continental Airlines' OnePass, and Northwest's WorldPerks have reciprocal frequent flyer benefits, allowing members of any of the two programs to earn and use miles on any of the four airlines. KLM's Flying Dutchman members also can accrue and redeem miles on Copa Airlines flights through Latin Pass.

From the U.S., passengers can fly Copa Airlines nonstop from Orlando, Miami and Los Angeles to Panama City, with continuing service to Copa Airlines destinations throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Customers can connect through Copa's "Hub of the Americas" in Panama to destinations such as Buenos Aires, Argentina; Santiago, Chile; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Caracas, Venezuela; San Jose, Costa Rica; Quito and Guayaquil, Ecuador; Lima, Peru; Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and many other destinations.
