Copa Airlines continues to maintain one of the best records of on-time performances in the airline industry worldwide, finishing the first quarter 2001 with an 88.5 percent on-time performance and the second quarter with an 88.6 percent record.

According to the company's internal monitoring procedures, Copa's on-time performance level registered 88.6 percent for flights during the second quarter 2001. On-time performance is determined by a maximum 15-minute variation from the scheduled time of arrival.
