Business Editors & Travel Writers

PANAMA CITY, Panama--(BUSINESS WIRE)----Sept. 16, 2001

Copa Airlines announces that as of Sept. 16, all flights to and from the United States will operate on a regular schedule, including flights from/to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

All passengers on international flights must arrive three hours before flight departure because of the extraordinary safety measures, adopted both by the civil aviation authorities and by the commercial aviation industry, designed to ensure the safety of passengers and personnel.

Copa Airlines appreciates its customers' understanding of the necessity for these measures and expresses its gratitude to all passengers for their understanding.
