The six planter barrels were donated by English Landscapes, which works on behalf of city centre management company CV One.

The colourful display includes busy Lizzies, marigolds, geraniums, and hydrangeas, all donated by Hill Top nursery, owned by Mr Gibson's cousins, Grant and Kevin Ashby.

Mr Gibson said: "The flowers are all very eye-catching, and full of colours, from yellows to pinks and reds, and I hope everyone enjoys seeing them."
