Cop prangs smash the pounds 200k mark; POLICE.


POLICE drivers in Scotland have caused almost pounds 200,000 worth of damage to their cars since the start of 2008, new figures reveal.

Animal collisions accounted for more than pounds 20,000 of the repairs bill, with vehicles mangling The term mangling may refer to:

Other reasons given include gusts of wind, reversing into other police vehicles - and even striking pedestrians.

The repairs bill is more than twice the pounds 84,000 cost of damage caused by vandals.
