Coors commits to aluminum. (Municipal Recycling).

Coors Brewing Co., Golden, Colo., is part of a joint venture with one of the nation's largest beverage container makers to make as many as 4.5 billion aluminum cans per year.

The beer maker has announced a joint venture with Ball Corp., Broomfield, Colo., to create a new joint venture called Rocky Mountain Metal Container that will be based at Coors' can facilities in Golden.
