Coors Light(R) and Coors(R) Banquet Capture Brandweek(R) Customer Loyalty Award for Second Consecutive Year.

GOLDEN, Colo. -- For the second consecutive year, Coors Light(R) and Coors(R) Banquet have been awarded the Brandweek(R) Customer Loyalty Award, which identifies the "ideal" brands within various industries. Ideal brands are those that consistently meet and exceed customers' expectations every time they encounter them.

Coors Banquet and Coors Light were the winners in the regular beer and light beer categories, respectively. Loyalty drivers for the regular beer category included full-bodied taste, drinkability, appropriateness for all occasions and brewing expertise. Loyalty drivers for the light beer category included refreshing taste, drinkability, appropriateness for all occasions and brewing expertise.

"We're honored to once again be recognized with this prestigious award, as it demonstrates that our consumers know they are getting a quality product every time with Coors Light and Coors Banquet," said Jim Sabia, vice president of marketing for Coors Brewing Company. "What's more, this award is proof that our Rocky Mountain cold refreshment message is truly resonating with adult consumers."

Brandweek magazine is the leading source of news and information in the U.S. marketing industry and the only trade magazine to offer coverage at all levels of the brand-activation process. Brandweek partnered with Brand Keys Inc., a brand and customer loyalty company, to create the Brandweek Loyalty Awards.

Award winners are identified by the results of the annual Brand Keys Customer Loyalty Index. The index probes customers' relationships with more than 200 brands in 35 categories and identifies the factors that bond customers with the "ideal" brand in each category. The brand that comes closest to meeting or exceeding those of the ideal is the one whose customers will show the highest levels of loyalty and profitability over the coming months. This year, roughly 16,000 consumers were surveyed to identify the top brands in customer loyalty.
