Coors Brewing Company to Serve as Co-Sponsor and Donor at KAGRO of Maryland's 11th Annual Scholarship Awards.


GOLDEN, Colo. -- Coors Brewing Company announced that it will donate $8,000 to the Korean American Korean Americans (Korean: 한국계 미국인, Hanja: 韓國系美國人, hangukgye migugin) are Americans of Korean descent.  Grocers Association (KAGRO) of Maryland, Inc.'s scholarship fund. The donation is part of the company's long-standing commitment to KAGRO's annual program which awards 11 merit scholarships to students in Korean-American and other communities.

Study beyond the level of secondary education. Institutions of higher education include not only colleges and universities but also professional schools in such fields as law, theology, medicine, business, music, and art.

The scholarships will be presented to the recipients during the 11th Annual KAGRO Scholarship Award Ceremony and Year-End Party. The ceremony, co-sponsored by Coors, will be held at Baltimore's Millennium Hall of Seoul Plaza at 7:00 p.m. on December 10. In attendance will be the scholarship recipients, their families, members of KAGRO and other special guests.

"The Maryland KAGRO counts Coors as one of our strong partners. We appreciate the generous donation Coors has made to our scholarship fund and look forward to continuing our relationship in the future," said Kap Yung Park, president of KAGRO of Maryland.
