Coors Brewing Company to Donate 1 Million Pounds of Feed Pellets to Help Farmers and Ranchers in Southeastern Colorado.

GOLDEN, Colo. -- Coors Brewing Company will donate 1 million pounds of pellets to Operation Blizzard Benefit, a relief effort coordinated by the Colorado Cattlemen's Association, the state's leading agricultural organization. Operation Blizzard Benefit is alleviating the hardships suffered by ranchers and farmers as a result of the recent storms by coordinating and distributing donations throughout the state.

Teague Diversified, Inc., the animal feed broker for Coors, helped facilitate the effort and contributed part of the transportation costs.

Since late December, many ranchers and farmers in Colorado have faced challenges in keeping their herds alive. As a result of the recent storms, efforts to transport food to the ranches and to reach cattle to feed them have been obstructed ob·struct
