Tire & Rubber will expand its tire
plant there by 163,000 sq. ft. at a cost of about $9.5 million. The
footage will be used for additional warehouse space and shipping. Cooper
will increase tire building capacity by about 1,000 tires per day and
add about 15 jobs when the project is completed in 1993's third
quarter.
