Cooper Square Realty named managers of Lincoln Square condos.

After an exhaustive selection process, the Board of Managers of two of the prestigious Lincoln Square condominiums have awarded their management contracts to Cooper Square Realty, announced David Kuperberg, CPM[R], and president of Cooper Square Realty.

The Lincoln Square project is the brainchild of Millennium Partners, whose concept was to turn three underutilized blocks adjacent to Lincoln Center into a state-of-the-art, mixed-use urban development. These distinctive properties have redefined Manhattan's luxury residential living and have helped transform the Lincoln Center area into one of the city's premier living, shopping and entertainment destinations. Gary Handel and Associates was the architect for both buildings.

One Lincoln Square Condominium, located at 150 Columbus Ave., is a 30-story residential and retail building. The sharply angled intersection of Broadway and Columbus Avenues helps to define the architecture of the towers, whose exterior materials include buff colored brick, cast stone sills and a granite base. Completed in 1995 with 143 residential units, the four-story gleaming glass enclosed base is home to retail condominiums including Eddie Bauer and Barnes & Noble. Above are 23 residential floors and four penthouse floors with spectacular views.

A mixed-use podium base creates an exciting urban entertainment center in Lincoln Square Millennium Tower at 111 West 67th St. with the Sony Theatre multiplex, 3D IMAX[R] Theater and The Reebok Sports Club/NY The Gap, Baby Gap and Gracious Home are among the retail tenants and the building houses a branch or the United States Post Office. The residential tower, composed of brick, metal and glass boasts 282 luxury residential units.
