Coombe with a view for Chelsea's millionaires.


CHELSEA'S squad were last night staying at Coombe Abbey Coombe Abbey is an hotel in Warwickshire, England which has been developed from an historic country house. The house is classified as a Grade I listed building. The house's original grounds are now a country park known as Coombe Country Park  Hotel on the outskirts of Coventry.

 club hired about 30 rooms at the hotel, which is nestled within 500 acres of parkland.

Bosses at the hotel, which has 119 rooms - including feature and grand feature rooms - refused to comment on their VIP guests. But it is thought that the entire squad would have eaten in the restaurant last night.

The hotel in the 12th century abbey was fully booked last night and with the cheapest room costing pounds 95 and the most expensive priced at pounds 325 - the club could have spent in the region of pounds 9,000 on accommodation.

A three-course meal on Friday night costs in the region of pounds 50 per person and a bottle of Dom Perignon Dom Perignon

 comes with a price tag of pounds 110. The hotel is set within a public country park run by the city council.
