Coolio's paradise? No, it's Warrington; The Insider.

IT can't be easy on a rapper's ego, getting beaten by a Swedish former weathergirl. But coming in third place on Celebrity Big Brother Celebrity Big Brother could refer to:

  • Celebrity Big Brother Australia, the celebrity edition of Big Brother Australia

Terry Christian doesn't seem to have dampened Coolio's spirits too much.

In fact he's making the most of his new-found reality TV fame this side of the Pond by pressing the flesh with at least a few of those who voted for him during his turbulent stay in the house.

contestants, especially Tina Malone and Michelle Heaton, will be hoping to charm 600 clubbers at Warrington's Halo club tomorrow night.

They will watch the rap star perform three of his hits in a live PA.

General manager Paul Cowen tells Insider: "We booked him about two weeks ago, when he first went into the house, and the appearance is just a celebration of his completion of Celeb ce·leb

 Big Brother.

"Obviously his profile has been raised due to his appearance on the show so there's been a big demand to see him."

Tickets are said to be selling quickly especially since the show ended, and those willing to splash a bit more cash can meet Coolio himself.

Paul adds: "There's the chance for people to attend the meet and greet in the VIP area once Coolio's finished his performance where they can get an autograph."

The performance will last 30 minutes, and Coolio will be on stage with his support band performing a set which will include his most famous hit Gangsta's Paradise from the 1996 film Dangerous Minds.

Tickets cost pounds 5 for standard entry, and pounds 10 for a meet and greet which includes a snap with the star. Maybe Tina and Michelle could negotiate a buy-one-get-one-free deal?

Failing that, maybe they'd prefer to catch up with Coolio's little homey Verne Troyer who'll be following in his footsteps (or maybe wheeling in on his scooter) and appearing at Halo a week later, on February 6.
