CoolBrands Crayola desserts in deal with crayon company.

Edible crayons? Not exactly. But Canadian frozen desserts maker CoolBrands International has inked a licensing agreement with Binney & Smith, which has made Crayola crayons since 1903, to expand the brand into the food category.

The partnership is aimed at creating a line of frozen novelties including bars, sandwiches, cones, sundaes and shakes. In addition, CoolBrands will develop Crayola branded frozen desserts in prepackaged pre·pack·age
