Cool venue is too hot; YourSay.

AS MUCH as I like the new Academy in Birmingham as a music venue, something needs to be done about the ventilation.

At some shows I've been to they got it right but at others - Bloc Party, Calvin Harris, Alice In Chains - the main room has been sweltering swel·ter·ing
adj.
1. Oppressively hot and humid; sultry.

2. Suffering from oppressive heat.

swel
 to an unpleasant degree.

I'd go as far to say that the heat I experienced during the aforementioned shows definitely spoiled them and made me long for the end of the gig which simply isn't right.

v. crammed, cram·ming, crams

v.tr.
1. To force, press, or squeeze into an insufficient space; stuff.

2. To fill too tightly.

3.
a. To gorge with food.
with 3,000-odd people but surely there's something they could do.
