Cool Ruler reigns; Also playing: Gregory Isaacs.

REGGAE legend GREGORY ISAACS Gregory Anthony Isaacs (born 15 July, 1950) is a Jamaican reggae musician.

Isaacs was born in Fletchers Land, Kingston, Jamaica. In the 1970s, he emerged as one of the most prolific and popular recording artists in Jamaica.
 (pictured left) comes to Middlesbrough Town Hall tomorrow.

The "Cool Ruler", whose numerous albums include the famous Night Nurse, is performing as part of the Worldfest event, a celebration of a diverse mix of music from around the world.

The concert also brings the talents of Isaacs' backing band LIVE WYYA, who were recently voted best backing band at the 27th International Reggae and World Music Awards at the Apollo Theatre in New York City New York City: see New York, city.
