Cooking with Justin: Recipes for Kids (and Parents) by the World's Youngest Chef.

by Justin Miller Andrews and McMeel, 1997; $9.95

When people ask eight-year-old Justin Miller how he got started cooking, he answers, "Well, it all started when I began to crawl. I found out that I could go into the kitchen cupboards and pull out the pots and pans."

As he got older, Justin showed a real interest in cooking. At the age of two, he was busy making up recipes in his own toy kitchen, watching cooking shows on TV, and helping out his parents in the real kitchen.

Cooking With Justin is a wonderful collection of Justin's favorite recipes. It also tells the story of how Justin went from being a kid who watched TV cooking shows, to becoming a kid chef who has appeared on several national TV programs! (Justin has been a guest on "The Late Show with David Letterman," "Good Morning America," "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood," and other shows.)

Here's a recipe from the section of Justin's cookbook entitled Pick-Me-Up Snacks and Sides. Have an adult help you, and enjoy the results!
