Cook in new deal at Giants.

HIGHLY-RATED Reserve coach Paul Cook has signed a new two-year Giants contract.

The deal has been secured on the back of an outstanding first season at the Galpharm for the former Giants full-back.

"Cooky cooky - cookie  did a great job this year with the young guys and I'm delighted he'll be staying with us," said Brown.

"He had a successful year with his side finishing third and the fact we called on plenty of the young players shows Cooky did a really good job.

"I'm certain he can play his part in taking the club forward, as we're all trying to do."

And the former Bramley chief is excited about staying around for the next two years.

"I'm absolutely delighted to be staying," said Cook.

"There's a lot of good youth coming through the club and I'm looking forward to playing my part in that continuing.

"We had a successful year in 2009 and my aim is to continue helping young talent at this club progress to Super League level."
