A WOMAN who conned hundreds of pounds out of a kind hearted pensioner PENSIONER. One who is supported by an allowance at the will of another. It is more usually applied to him who receives an annuity or pension from the government.  by telling him she had cancer and needed money to visit hospital for treatment,has been placed on a community rehabilitation rehabilitation: see physical therapy.  order.

But Flintshire magistrates heard yesterday Kathleen Jane Brick was now genuinely ill -too ill to do her community punishment.Brick, 27, was waiting for surgery and was unable to do her unpaid hours and had only completed 22 of the 240 hours given to her.

Flintshire magistrates revoked the order and placed her on a 12 month rehabilitation order instead.
