. While several other vendors offer tools to simply move data, according to Valencia, one way Convoy differentiates itself is that the product automatically learns about the data requirements of the legacy and PeopleSoft systems. "Most of our competitors can move and transform data, but Convoy has the ability to dynamically extract knowledge of the source and target applications. Users do not have to build the transformation and validation rules on their own. All relationships in the data, whether customized by the user or obtained from the base PeopleSoft application, are found by Convoy/DM and used to quickly and accurately migrate information, removing the need for users to be application experts."
