Convington Construction Corp. opens doors.

Convington Construction Corporation, a privately held construction management and general contracting services firm with a specialty in the planning and build out of commercial interiors, has opened its doors.

Founding partners Linda Tepperman, most recently a vice president of the George A. Fuller Company, and Marylou Berk, former and operator of M&L Realty & Management Corporation, bring considerable experience and expertise to the new firm.

A full-service construction Company assist clients from conception to design and construction. For example, Tepperman and Berk both provided consulting and direct management for the build out of headquarters for such companies as Prodigy and The Monchick-Weber Corporation and on the installation of tenants in such projects as 900 Third Avenue, a newly constructed 450,000 square-foot luxury office building.

The company carefully assesses budgets and goals for each project, scrupulously monitor the costs and quality of the work performed, and focus on keeping every job moving ahead, on schedule and within budget.

Linda Tepperman began her real estate and construction career with Schulman Realty Group in White Plains, New York, and moved to La Salle Partners to provide building management to over 90 tenants. The next several years were spent as a vice president of Tishman Construction Corporation and chief operating officer of Elia Attia Architects.

Marylou Berk is a specialist in the management of major concurrent projects, cost containment and turnaround management. She has more than 15 years of experience as a senior real estate, construction and operations professional who has managed budgets of up to a billion dollars. She owned and operated M&L Realty & Management Corporation, a management consulting firm to real estate owner/development/management companies, banks and computer services firms.
