Conveyor Systems were called upon for the commission of a new system. (Packaging Equipment).


Conveyor Systems Ltd were called upon to work closely with a machinery manufacturer to design, install and commission a system that links existing plant and provides controlled feed and accurate orientation of corrugated cor·ru·gate

Automated case packers were installed to pack bottles from 35cl to 150cl at speeds of 35 cases per minute.

This was successfully achieved by integrating twin speed multi-slat band conveyors, providing a combined braking and slewing action to turn the empty lightweight boxes.

Various empty six and twelve bottle cases are handled, with the smaller case requiring to be turned through 900 to ensure correct orientation for the case packer packer /pack·er/ (pak´er) an instrument for introducing a dressing into a cavity or a wound.

 side grip lowerator has replaced high level conveyors and this unit has the flexibility to adjust to suit different case sizes.

Following on, a two speed accelerator belt is integrated into the system to ensure correct gapping between cases, just prior to turning the empty case smoothly at 35 per minute on the twin speed multi-slat band conveyor.

On exiting the automatic case packer, the slug of four full cases are turned and realigned to a leading short edge.
