integration process to import the new user's maintenance dataset and customize it to match the fields found within FOUNDATION for Windows. Some of the files that can be converted include GL accounts, vendors, customers, jobs, cost codes, employees and inventory items. The result will be a seamless conversion of this data from the old to new.

Fred Ode comments, "Over the years we have had hundreds of requests from new clients to convert their existing data. Contractors see this process as one of the burdens associated with updating their accounting system. This is easily understood, as re-entering maintenance data can be time-consuming and costly to a contractor, and the margin for error with manual entry is high. The ConversionQUICK Service eliminates these problems by easily configuring the data for a smooth import into FOUNDATION for Windows. The client receives the completed dataset and does not have to worry about anything other then running their business."

Foundation is currently offering the ConversionQUICK Service and hopes to expand the service to include conversion from other off-the-shelf and construction-specific accounting programs in the near future.
