Converium.

JAKOB EUGSTER has joined CONVERIUM as executive vice president for Standard Property & Casualty Reinsurance.

Recently, Eugster had worked as managing director for Benfield Germany. He began his career in 1974 with Swiss Re.

Also, BENJAMIN GENTSCH will take on responsibilities in life and health while maintaining his current position of executive vice president for specialty lines.

Gentsch is also a member of Converium's Global Executive Committee and a director of global Aerospace Underwriting Managers Ltd. and Medical Defense Union Services Ltd. Most recently, he was chief executive officer for Converium Zurich.
