convergent billing

Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG), the global leader in integrated billing, employee care, and customer care services, and Visage Mobile, the first U.S. enabler of private label wireless services, announced today a multi-year Infinys(TM) contract. The agreement is part of an alliance agreement to support North American mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) clients with outsourced billing services. Convergys will be Visage Mobile's exclusive billing services provider, operating its Infinys rating and billing component, Geneva(TM), from a Convergys data center. Visage Mobile will be Convergys' exclusive partner in outsourcing MVNO operations.

California-based Visage Mobile is a mobile virtual network enabler. The company provides operations and billing support systems to MVNOs, service providers that utilize an established carrier's network to deliver differentiated wireless services under their own brand names.

Through the alliance, Convergys will assist Visage Mobile in identifying and contracting with new MVNO clients who will use Visage's suite of services to deliver their own wireless products to consumers. Convergys' success in supporting the rating and billing needs of several high-profile MVNOs in Europe will greatly benefit Visage Mobile's North American MVNO clients.
