Convergys and AT&T Wireless Services Sign Customer Care Agreement.

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 1, 1999--

Convergys Corporation today announced it has signed an outsourcing agreement with AT&T Wireless Services, Inc., (AWS) to extend the current contract for inbound customer care and related services into the year 2006. AWS is already a significant Convergys communications billing client, and by this contract, Convergys continues to be an important and long-term vendor supporting AWS Customer Care.

This agreement extends the current AWS Customer Care contract by 80 months. It is significant for Convergys because of the number of current and potential customers generated by AT&T Wireless Services' leading position in the wireless market and the length of the agreement.

Convergys handles many types of customer care calls for AWS including general billing, credits and adjustments, account status changes, roaming, and technical troubleshooting. Convergys will utilize several of its 32 call centers to support AWS Customer Care including those in Jacksonville, FL, Lubbock, TX, and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
