The Financial Times, one of the world's foremost newspapers, has presented Convergys Corporation with an award for the best use of Internet technology in the global telecoms industry. The award was presented last night in Geneva, Switzerland, as one of twelve categories in the Financial Times Global Telecoms Awards. The highest award in the Internet technology category was presented to Convergys to coincide with the ITU's Telecom '99, the biggest telecommunications event in the industry.
