Convergys Signs Sky Network Television to Subscriber Management-Billing Upgrade; Convergys Solution Will Serve More Than 300,000 Subscribers in New Zealand.

AUCKLAND, New Zealand--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 1998--Convergys Corporation announces that Sky Network Television Ltd., of New Zealand has signed a three-year agreement to upgrade its CableMaster(R) Subscriber Management and Billing System.

Sky serves more than 300,000 subscribers in New Zealand.

Sky Network Television has been a client of Convergys, formerly CBIS, since 1990 when the cable provider first converted to CableMaster and maintained the licensed software internally. Late last year, Sky Network Television evaluated customer care and billing solutions and once again chose Convergys to meet its billing and customer care needs. The latest CableMaster Billing and Subscriber Management solution has now been implemented and is in production for Sky Network Television.
