Convergys Expands Client Offerings with Acquisition of Visage Mobile Subscriber Management Platform.

CINCINNATI & SAN FRANCISCO -- Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in relationship management, announced today it has expanded the solution set available to communications service providers through the acquisition of Visage Mobile's Subscriber Management Platform.

Visage Mobile is a leading provider of on-demand subscriber management solutions for Cable and Mobile network service providers, and virtual service providers such as MVNOs.

"For our existing and potential clients, this strategic acquisition of Visage's Subscriber Management Platform extends the Convergys solution footprint, and provides a complementary technology to our existing Infinys product offerings," said Bob Lento, president of Information Management at Convergys. Visage Mobile's Subscriber Management Platform is tested and proven in the market, and currently serves the mobile subscribers of Embarq Corporation (NYSE:EQ). Through its long-standing relationship with Visage, Convergys has been supporting Embarq since its wireless launch, and has assumed the contract with Embarq.

The cash acquisition closed this week and was neutral to Convergys' 2008 earnings.
