Convergys Corporation Appoints Claudia Schaefer to Vice President, Legal.CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 3, 1999--Convergys Corporation announces the appointment of Claudia Schaefer to Vice President - Legal. In her new role, Ms. Schaefer will head the team that handles legal affairs on behalf of more than 25,000 Convergys Customer Management Group employees throughout the United States, in Canada, and in Europe. She will report to William D. Baskett III, General Counsel of Convergys. In her new role, Ms. Schaefer is responsible for the protection and enforcement of the company's rights, compliance with the law on a company-wide basis, and promulgation PROMULGATION. Ms. Schaefer joined Convergys in 1996 and before this appointment served as Senior Director of Legal where she handled client contract negotiation and human resources inquiries. Prior to employment with Convergys, she served as a partner with the Cincinnati-based law firm of Frost and Jacobs where her responsibilities included commercial and general litigation An action brought in court to enforce a particular right. Since 2001, UCLA has enrolled over 33,000 total students, and that number is steadily rising. with a B.A. in Sociology. She received her law degree from the University of Southern California The U.S. News & World Report ranked USC 27th among all universities in the United States in its 2008 ranking of "America's Best Colleges", also designating it as one of the "most selective universities" for admitting 8,634 of the almost 34,000 who applied for freshman admission in 1986. As an active member in the Cincinnati community, she serves on the boards of two alcohol recovery programs, First Step Home and Kids Helping Kids.
