Key functionality of the new release includes Catalys' integrated advanced collections capability and support of enhanced usage-based rating and billing for IP telephony service providers utilizing Cisco and Lucent gateways. The integrated collections functionality facilitates customer payments and helps manage overdue accounts and bad debt within the Catalys solution.

This release also expands upon Catalys' Web self-care, real-time technical support, tiered/dual-pass rating, event rating, and wholesale/retail billing functionality.
