Convergys' ICOMS Billing Solution Supports Altrio Communications' Launch of Convergent Broadband Video, Data and Telephony Services.

Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG), the global leader in integrated billing and customer care services, announced today that it has signed a 7-year agreement to provide its ICOMS convergent voice, video, and data billing and customer care solution to Altrio Communications.

Altrio will use ICOMS in a Convergys service bureau environment to support its launch of a next-generation fiber optic network to provide convergent broadband video, data, and telephony services. Altrio Communications, which has headquarters near Los Angeles, plans to begin operation of its first network later this year in Southern California.
