Jumper Networks and Sonus Networks are working together to enable service providers to offer integrated voice and data over their existing infrastructures whilst maintaining the highest levels of performance, reliability, and quality of service. Through their joint sales and marketing alliance, Juniper Networks Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) is an information technology company based in Sunnyvale, California and founded in 1996. The company designs and sells Internet Protocol network products and services.  and Sonus will deliver career-class solutions harnessing the latest innovations in MPLS/Traffic Engineering, service-aware routing, and differentiated services Offerings that can be classified by type, or quality, of service. For example, a differentiated services network could prioritize real time traffic for a higher fee. . The two companies are actively engaged in building converged core network inftastructures for carriers worldwide, including service provider Zephion Networks. Zephion has deployed an IP MPLS (1) (MultiProtocol Lambda Switching) The earlier name for GMPLS. See GMPLS.
