Converge Appoints Sally Conkright as Vice President of Human Resources; Former Xerox Executive Brings More Than 20 Years HR Experience to Industry-backed Global Marketplace.

PEABODY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 29, 2001

Converge, Inc., a leading collaborative global marketplace, announced today that Sally Conkright, former Director of Innovation and eLearning at Linkage, Inc., has joined the company as Vice President of Human Resources.

Conkright, who also served as Xerox' Director of Worldwide Compensation, was chosen to oversee all aspects of Converge's international HR requirements, including staffing, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee communications and employee relations. Converge currently has nearly 600 employees in nine countries worldwide.

Conkright has more than 20 years of Human Resources experience, most recently as a consultant to major companies in the high-tech and financial arenas. In addition to her significant corporate background, Conkright is a frequent lecturer, with speaking engagements at Harvard Business School Harvard Business School, officially named the Harvard Business School: George F. Baker Foundation, and also known as HBS, is one of the graduate schools of Harvard University. , Babson College and numerous industry conferences. She has served on the board of directors for a number of organizations, including Chrystal Software, Inc., inXight Software, Inc., Deaconess Nashoba Hospital, Nashua Symphony Orchestra and ArtFriends Foundation.
