Converge: Husband-Wife Art Exhibit at Tri-C.

Western Campus Hosts Ceramic Sculpture Exhibit

PARMA, Ohio -- Cuyahoga Community College's Western Campus presents the new art exhibit "Converge," which features collaborative ceramic sculpture by husband-wife team, Todd Leech and Stephanie Craig. The exhibit opened this month and runs until Saturday, March 29. The public is invited to meet the artists at a free opening reception Saturday, March 1, from 1 - 3 p.m. in Tri-C's Gallery West.

"Converge," is the couple's first attempt to merge their individual, artistic visions into one exhibit. Both professional artists have strong, national exhibition records for their independent work. The aesthetics of Stephanie's independent work have been rooted in keen observations of form and design in nature, while Todd's independent work may be described as post-industrial and focusing on surface textures that are primitive, crusty, and even deteriorate over time. The first-time collaborative work exhibited in "Converge" promises revelations of their relationship and response to one another, both as artists and as husband and wife.

The exhibit will be held in Gallery West, located on the 2nd floor of the Campus Library at Tri-C's Western Campus, 11000 Pleasant Valley Road, Parma. Gallery West hours are: Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
